A horror TTRPG set during World War 1

The Great War. A time of technological advancement and terrible suffering. Yet one day, the battlefields became quiet and strange creatures began to infest the remnants. The Corruption took hold.

The war is over, survival is all that matters now. And no one can leave the strange dimension that they find themselves in. There has to be a way out. There must be. 

The land you find yourselves in is known as The Wastes, a place out of time and space with the real world, with supernatural powers warping it into terrifying form. 

For one reason or another you are stuck in The Wastes, perhaps you were recruited as a soldier, maybe you were a nurse tending to the sick and dying, or maybe you were just here to begin with. 

Either way you and your group of Survivors must travel the wastes, looting what you can, creating new equipment from resources and maintaining your own sanity. One bullet could end your life, yet you must journey on. 

Hi there! My name is Amber (Any pronouns) and I have been developing this table top role playing game for over a year now. I'm a huge fan of horror with this game taking inspiration from things like Darkest Dungeon, The Magnus Archives, Dnd, Monster of the Week, Warhammer and other pieces of media. 

This is a very early build which I am continuing to update. The main theme is horror within World War 1 with an emphasis on mystery solving, roleplaying and generally avoiding combat (since death is so easy). Although you will no doubt be forced to fight eventually. 

This game is laid out in the classic player and game master dynamic. Freak out your players! Play out heart breaking and heart warming stories. And remember, there is always hope, no matter how grim it gets.
